I got .9 out of 1 point for my first cataloging assignment. I guess she didn't like my answer for the importance of bibliographic control. I said,

"Bibliographic control is important because it allows us to locate materials in a collection."

Sounds good so far.

"Without bibliographic control all would be chaos."

That's the part I don't think she had the sense of humor for. Oh well, 1 point I don't think I'll stress yet. But, serious from now on...
